Lush Korea Pins Part 1

Lush Korea has a wonderful reward system for its' loyal customers:  덕찌s!   If you can't read Korean, that word can be transliterated as Deokjji.  If we translate it into English we get something like "Nerdy Things".  These unique Korean pins are so interesting and special that it only seemed like a good idea to showcase our collection for the readers.

Our reviews of the Lush Korea Collectible pins will start out with the coolest: the ingredient pins! Today we will show off three of these ingredient pins that are in love with your skin and your skin loves them too!

First off, is the Sea Salt pin.  Sea Salt is an ingredient that Lush puts to good use in a lot of their products.  It has wonderful volumizing properties for your hair and is great for cleaning and enriching your skin when used on your body.

Lush gets all of the sea salt from Portugal and uses only the unrefined and highest quality salt they can buy.  This is to ensure that the wonderful minerals can stay in the product and keep you vitalized!

The next pin is the Kaolin Pin. This is a really new pin that we just picked up from our local.  Kaolin is a type of clay that is used in a lot of high-end cosmetic products.  It has alot of other uses too, ranging from paper to ceramics.  Kaolin can absorb liquids very well and as a result, it is very good at drawing out toxins and cleaning your skin.

Lush gets their Kaolin from a deposit in Cornwall in the UK.  They use Kaolin in their face masks and cleansers. Look at the ingredient list of your next face product to see if this wonder-clay will be helping you.

Our last pin today represents what might be one of Lush's most well-used ingredients.  Cocoa Butter is moisturizing and is a natural emulsifier that can help Lush keep their products mixed and together after they've made them.  In terms of moisturizing, cocoa butter is a time-honored ingredient that not only moisturizes your skin but can help to repair skin!

Lush pays a fair-trade price for their cocoa butter.  They get it from three different co-ops to meet all of their production needs around the world.  The Dominican Republic is where most of these co=ops source their Cocoa Butter from.  When you pay fair trade prices for something, you are ensuring that all of the people involved in the production of this product get an equitable and life-supporting wage.
