I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles is a reusable bubble bar released in the July Lush Labs edition and then was later released in several other locations around the world to be sold in stores. It is a bubble bar that is designed to blow bubbles with so it is special because it is a toy and also a bath product. This product is named after a classic whimsical song from the 1920s. It has often been covered and redone has become a very popular song in many parts of the world.

The ingredients in this bubble bar are not very different from many other Lush products. None of these ingredients feel very exciting if you read them: Sicilian lemon, lime and grapefruit oils. Those ingredients can be found in many Lush products and usually are working together to make the boring citrus smells that we see a lot of. Somehow, the particular mix of these ingredients makes a very special smell though. I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles smells like an amazing fresh tart lime. It has a zing and strength that we do not often get from lime oil containing products and outclasses some of the other titans of Lime, like Calacas.
When smelling this product Lady Bubble remembers the smell of fresh limes from her time living in Vietnam when she would have them with almost every meal of the day. Lord Fizz remembers the smells of the old lime green Skittles (god rest their sugar-coated souls). As defines the best fragrances, this smell is very strong in both of our bather's memories. For them, it is nostalgic and melancholy while also being new and invigorating.

The bubble bar is a bright green colored bubble-wand on a small wooden stick. The bubble bar is very heavy and many times the small stick cannot stay attached to the bubble bar and it breaks. This problem was experienced by Lady Bubble and Lord FIzz and several of their peers in the Lush community. However, the product can be used without a stick! As Lady Bubble and Lord Fizz found out first hand! The water that this product is used in will take a lot of green color and becomes a wonderful neon green. Sadly after one or two uses, the outside will fade to yellow, even though the bright green pigment will remain inside.
Surprisingly, you can dip this product into any bath water and it will make a bubble as soon as you pull it out! We expected it would take some time to make the water soapy but it didn't, it only needed one plunge to make bubbles. Even using it fresh will take very little swishing to make a bubble in the wand. Using this product as a bubble bath will also give a fantastic yield of voluminous pearlescent bubbles.
The smell and the color of this product are really great and
Lady Bubble and Lord Fizz really love it. Sadly, the color fades very quickly and the stick does not hold onto the bubble bar very well. Regrettably, once it breaks, you don't want you to blow bubbles anymore, you just want to chop it up to make lovely lime green and lime scented waters.
