Eggs and candy! (Along with some heavy religious overtones) The season of spring is upon us and Lush's spring/easter range is here with all of the fresh and sweet scents. This year, some products have found their way into the discontinued archives and some classics have come back in new formats. Lush seems to be continuing their naked campaigns which, to the chagrin of many collectors means shower gel bottles are gone but to the satisfaction of THE EARTH waste is down!
Let's look at what we have in the new range this year:
 |
April Showers - Easter 2018 |
We have heard talk of rain before in Lush's violet, vanilla and blueberry masterpiece shower gel, Don't Rain on my Parade and this bath bomb has almost the same scent! Although the ingredients to differ slightly, the sweet candy violet smell still stands out in this product. Not much a bath art bath bomb but it still leaves the delightful purple water.
 |
Free Rangers - Easter 2018 |
Free Rangers is a bath bomb that is a reincarnation of the chicken shaped bath bomb from last year. This bath bomb does not have a baby chick inside it, like last years chicken bath bomb but it it still has the two super loveable separate pieces. It comes in three different color combinations that all have the same scent, an almost identical to The Comforter.

Which came first? - Easter 2018 |
Which Came First is another cute easter bath bomb. Shaped like an egg, it is hollow on the inside and has a smaller "chick" bath bomb inside. Lush markets it as a bath bomb that should be smashed on your bath tub's edge and used in two pieces. It is very fragile though, because of its design. The scent of this is a sweet citrus smell. It is made with vanilla and citrus fruit oils.
 |
Golden Egg - Easter 2018 |
Golden Egg is one of the returning favorites this year. It has a sweet smell, almost the same as the "Honey I Washed the _______" scent. It is bath bomb coated in a shell of cocoa butter and dipped in gold glitter. It is really glittery.... there are a lot of pictures of people covered in glitter that start coming out around Easter time.
 |
Bunch of Carrots- Easter 2018 |
Bunch of Carrots is back again this year and has a lovely smell that has been used in several of Lush's seasonal products, including the cute Snowman jelly. It is made with buchu oil and bergamot oil and has a fantastic uplifting smell. The three different colors of the bubble bars do lend themselves to making some beautiful baths too!
 |
Cream Egg - Easter 2018 |
This Bubbleroon has a very 'handmade' look with some versions of looking a little too handmade at times, as the colors bleed into each other. The smell is a sweet and minty and reminds one of a mint ice-cream once it is in the water.
 |
Poisson D'Avril - Easter 2018 |
It's a FISH! This little guppie has captured the hearts of many Lush fans with its cute design. It is loaded with glitter too and will make a purple/gold bath water when used on its own. The smell is either hit or miss. Being made with black pepper, oakmoss and neroli, it is a very new smell in the Lush catalog. Some say it smells great and some say it smells like a real fish...
 |
Seven Deadly Spins - Easter 2018 |
Seven Deadly Spins is a bubble spinner whose name has been leaked for months but we never knew what it was. Following suit with the fidget spinner trend that lush has made their own at this point, this reusable bubble bar is really cool. It has a great calacas-esque smell and a beautiful design
 |
Carrot Soap - Easter 2018 |
A new take on Carrot Soap, this is the second version of soap with the same name made by Lush. It has a new and unique smell this time, though. It has a carrot sweet smell that has a really great appeal. It also lathers very well and has such a cute design.
 |
Here Comes The Sun- Easter 2018 |
Here Comes The Sun! This lovely naked shower gel has the same smell of the impossible to dislike, with the same smell as the forever popular Brightside bubble bar. Getting fans to accept the naked shower gels can be a lot easier when the smell is so good!
 |
Wash Behing Your Ears - Easter 2018 |
Don't forget to wash behind your ears and your hair too! This new shampoo bar does not have the same smell as the eponymous shower cream from last year. It has a sweet carrot and citrus smell that is not very unique but hardly unenjoyable. As most shampoo bars do, this one lathers so well and leaves your hair feeling super clean.
