Lush has released this bath bomb as a part of their 2017 Christmas range. It was designed and invented by the Lush product inventor Gary Sears. In his own words, he described this as being a bath bomb that embodies classic boiled Sherbet Dip candies. As an American and a Korean Lord Fizz and Lady Bubble, respectively, have no idea what these candies might be but we can say that this is a bath bomb that we did enjoy!

As we touched on above, this product is scented as to evoke the smells of a candy known as a "Sherbet Lemon." It is not a candy that we are familiar with but if it smells like this bath bomb, it can't be too bad! Lush has been making a lot of citrus products recently and that has been a let down for us, as people that enjoy a good variety of smells. However, this is a smell that is almost so good that it doesn't matter. It has a sweet and charmingly citrus bouquet that is hard to dislike. It almost has the smell of ice cream or... wait for it...sherbet! If you enjoy the Refresher Shower Jelly, you might find this smell similar and equally wonderful!

We have ordered two of these bath bombs, one from England and one from Korea and so far, both of their "floating" potential has been low. Both of ours have had trouble staying on top of the water.
They seem to bounce up and down just under the surface and the bath art has only been a "so-so" for us.
Right off the bat, this product may strike you as unique as you take in its' shape and size. It is a large and oval shaped bath bomb that is not matched by any other bath bombs. The beautiful soft lemon yellow exterior holds a secret of a beautiful green core. We have only used this product while fresh but it would be sensible to wonder if this green core could present the "fading color syndrome" that other lush products have been famous for. When you pop this bobbing hard candy into your tub be prepared for a colorful experience. The yellows and green will mix and give you a delightful neon green bath water.
As a bath bomb, this seems to cover all of the bases for what we want. It is large and not one of those small, seemingly pointless, plunkers. It has a delightful mix of colors that can result in some really enjoyable bath art, provided you can get one to stay on top of the water! The smell is what really defines this product as one that we love. It is citrus but somehow it escapes the confines of boring and repetitive citrus and defines itself as a unique and lovable smell. This is a Christmas bath bomb that we can confidently recommend!
