Finally Lush has satisfied us all an given us a cute cat-shaped bubble bar that can fulfill
all of our zoomorphic bubble needs!  After the failed launch of the Meowzer bubble bar last year, we have been drooling and hoping for a fluffy friend to love and pet and...toss into the bath.  Well, we finally got it!  The spooky and black Bewitched Bubble bar is the cat that we have all wanted for so long.  Released as part of the 2017 Halloween range, this bubble bar was very popular and sold out in most stores (at least in Korea.)

The smell is one that almost every Lush fan will recognize right away and it is one of Lush's most iconic smells.  This purring bubble bar carries the same smell of our well-loved Blackberry Bath Bomb, RIP.  If you have been missing the cloying sweet scent of that purple ballistic, allow this seasonal feline to bring back that lovely bouquet. If you have never smelled this before...allow me to try to explain its' complexities.  Bewitched is scented with Olibanum Extract ...aka Frankincense which is an amazing and very unique smell.  It is best described as fruity and woody.  It has the sweet scent of something like a berry and there is also the strength of a tree resin, like a cypress oil.  Describing this smell is like trying to describe the color red.  What can you say? It is a very unique and fantastic smell and in this product, it works very well with the sweet citrus smells of Bergamot to create an intoxicating smell.

Like most bubble bars this product works very well at making bubbles but it also has the added bonus of turning your water black!  This is an ability that has been lacking in Lush's catalog for years.  If you want to turn your bathtub into a spooky witches potion, this is the bubble bar for you.  The black pigment is also very strong in this product and Lushies have reported effectively blackened baths from just a half of this bubble bar!


 It should be said that as this bubble bar has a face... you may not be lucky enough to get one made by an artist.  We have seen so many ugly cats out there, cat's that only a mother could love.  We got one rolling its' eye so far back into its head that "being sassy" is well out of the picture, at this point.

Lady Bubble and Lord Fizz personally love this bubble bar.  It has everything we want.  Its' smell is captivating and luxurious, the appearance of this cute little black cat is perfect and the product performs as well as any bubble bar could be asked to.  We stocked up and bought a couple of these for the warmer months too as these will be a bubble bar we do not hope to soon forget.
