This shower gel, released as a part of the 2017 Christmas range, is an exciting new addition to the veritable buffet products you can use while showering. It was originally designed with a very different smell and ingredient list (undisclosed by inventor Gary Shears) but due to supply limitations, this shower gel was changed at the last minute. As a result, every-time it is smelled or seen by Lady Bubble or Lord Fizz, it is not only a berry shower gel but a mystery shower gel!
This is also a shower gel that comes in a solid and liquid variety, like all shower gels this season. So far, the liquid and solid options seem comparable and do not have one element that makes them superior to another.

The smell is something wonderfully new and familiar at the same time. It reminds Lord Fizz of his mother's homemade cranberry sauce and many other lushies will note that the smell is very similar to Plum Rain. However, Berry Berry Christmas and Plum Rain have almost none of the same ingredients and yet, they do somehow overlap with one another. The scent of Berry Berry Christmas is presented with a sweet orange oil as a top note. Then winding down from there, we can smell the tartness of cranberries, just underneath. Then, the sweetness of blueberries provides a soft base. While, everything is connected by the fresh smelling rungs of olive leaf oil and bergamot oil. The smell is really exciting and one that is welcome to the holiday lineup!
When used this shower gel makes a great lather and the smell can really stand out. The orange and cranberry smells almost become separate from one another in the steam. It's consistency is thick but not too thick. It really embodies what one would imagine a shower 'gel' to be. It feels like it could definitely be stretched out over a long time, even with daily use.
Like any soap this shower gel will leave your skin dryer than if you were still your natural greasy self. (Ooh, nasty.) Although, it is not as skin parching as others, it is by no means a notably hydrating shower gel.

This is a beautiful shower gel too. It has a beautiful aqua blue color and it absolutely loaded with silver glitter. If you use a little bit too much in your loofah , you can even get a bit of blueish lather on your body.
Of the 7 shower gels that grace the shelves of lush stores during the winter months, this is one that can be heartily recommend to anyone! The scent is a tart and fruity excursion that will really leave you refreshed. The shower gel itself is thick and beautiful and the price is not too bad, especially when you consider how many uses you can get from such a thick gel like this one.
